Muhammadu Buhari, the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, is in Katsina, en route his hometown Daura.
According to Premium Times, the former military head of state arrived at Katsina Airport at about 4.40pm in a private jet.
It is worth recalling that the previous reports contained that the Nigerian government had stopped Buhari from leaving Abuja.
While it was not possible to obtain the details of the purported detention of the jet, it seems that the APC candidate successfully landed in Katsina and was warmly welcomed be the crowd of supporters waiting for him to alight.
The politician shook the hands of some locals and then greeted Aminu Masari, the APC governorship candidate in the state.
Without having spoken either to journalists or his supporters, Buhari left the airport at about 4:48 for Daura, where he is expected to cast his vote at the tomorrow’s presidential election.
